In September 2021 we spent four weeks in residence at the Back Gate Residency Space in Ladybank, Fife. The focus of the residency was to explore and experiment with our audio-visual jamming process. We were keen to explore the possibilities for delivering projects around this process in outdoor spaces and we set up a living/working space in the grounds of the residency space (a folding camper and awning with a large open sided 4 meter gazebo alongside). We wanted to work with Ladybank residents to explore possibilities and we reached-out for people to share their images, audio and ideas in relation to the sights and sounds of Ladybank. We held four open studio days where participants were able to work alongside us in exploring the process and developing some audio-visual sketches (you can stream these below).
With big thanks to Hugh Hoffman, Charlotte Lodge, Artist Kim, Esther McLaren and Nancy for their images, ideas, and enthusiastic jamming.
